Chapter one: Not Looking
You sat in your room most of the day, and laid down on your bed; that was the only thing that was unpacked currently. You were new to the neighborhood and didn't know anyone, considering you came from Oregon, which was miles away now. You finished high school last year, and is now going to college. Your eyes flashed open, your mind separating from your dreams. You pinched your eyebrows in confusion as you rose from your bed. Looking down at your shirt, you shake your head and blink as you realized it was damp from sweat. Maybe it was a dream? Rolling around in your bed, you feel your heart sink as deep as the ocean, realizing that you were probably right. But, nevertheless, you resorted to go on an adventure to ease your mind off of it. You shot up in your small bed as you gasped for air, clutching your throat. This was getting ridiculous; you keep on having dreams where you drown. Except this time was different; someone saved you. You blush as you remember him performing CPR before you awoke. His purple gaze still burned into your mind as you swiped your (color) hair out of your face. This summer turned out to be promising so far, considering that you finally got to meet your aunt and uncle at their beachfront out in Rhode Island.
